May 7, 1965 - May 23, 1999

 

Born May 7th 1965 passed away at the age of 34 yrs on May 23 1999. Owen was a very special man who was loved by everyone. He was more than just a wrestler - he was a loving family man and he loved his sport. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and fans.


A Poem for Owen 
In memory of my special friend

The rocks are worn, the sand is bleached,
And still the waves pound on the beach,
My friend's foot prints are there I know,
And they just laugh at winds that blow,
And though large rocks are polished and worn
His foot prints outlast the wind and waves and storm
And when once more I return to follow his foot prints beside the sea 
We'll be together my friend and me.

Owen is survived by his loving wife and best friend Martha and their two children and family and friends and fans around the world. It was a great honour to meet and watch Owen grow. We will sadly miss Owen Hart
